Walls don't listen - I do!
l am Dr. Barry Lee, an experienced counsellor and supervisor, here to walk alongside you through life’s challenges, offering an open, respectful space that values your perspective and pace.
I practice integrative counselling, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor support to your unique needs. I believe therapy is more than just talking—it’s about discovering new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Our sessions move at your pace. I’ll listen with care and curiosity, offer insights when helpful, and adapt our work to what truly matters to you. Together, we work toward self-acceptance, growth, and change.
What we can explore
Make sense of your thoughts and emotions.
Uncover patterns that may no longer serve you.
Reconnect with your values and sense of agency.
Cultivate self-compassion and resilience.
Over the past two decades, I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. My expertise includes:
Neurodiversity: Supporting neurodivergent individuals (including ASD, ADHD, and dyslexia) in navigating identity, self-esteem, and daily challenges.
Mental Health: Working with people experiencing concerns such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, and addictions.
Identity & Belonging: Cultural identity, intergenerational dynamics, diaspora and migration experiences.
Sexuality & Gender Affirmation: LGBTQ+ experiences, gender diversity, and intersecting identities (such as class, race, neurodiversity, and age).
Throughout my training, the most important thing I’ve learned is to respect and honour the uniqueness of who you are!
