Talk Therapy
goes beyond talking
goes beyond talking
Welcome! I’m Dr Barry Lee, a registered counsellor with over 20 years’ experience, dedicated to supporting people through life’s challenges with compassion, openness, and cultural sensitivity.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply need someone to talk to, you don’t have to go through it alone. I offer a safe, affirming, and inclusive space for reflection, emotional healing, and meaningful change.
I practise integrative counselling, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor support to your unique needs. My expertise includes working with individuals experiencing neurodivergence and those living with mental health concerns.
Talk Therapy is about discovering new ways of relating to yourself and others, and finding the resilience to create meaningful change.
Together, we can:
Make sense of your thoughts and emotions
Uncover patterns that may no longer serve you
Reconnect with your values and sense of agency
Cultivate self-compassion and resilience
Our sessions move at your pace. I’ll listen with care and curiosity, offer insights when helpful, and adapt our work to what truly matters to you.
Over the past two decades, I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. My particular expertise includes:
Supporting neurodivergent individuals (ASD, ADHD, dyslexia) in navigating identity, self-esteem, and daily challenges
Working with people experiencing mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, psychosis, and addictions
Supporting those exploring cultural identity, belonging, or intergenerational conflict
Working with individuals facing marginalisation, shame, or trauma
Providing affirming counselling to LGBTQ+ clients
Supporting clients for whom English is a second or additional language
Providing English and Cantonese in the sessions
“Being different” is something to respect and honor. Let's explore your feelings and navigate life's complexities! Together, we work toward self-acceptance, growth and change.
